International Traditional Karate Federation (ITKF) is proud to
announce the Annual Traditional Karate International Camp being
held in San Diego, California, U.S.A. from July 12 – 18,
2008.
As mentioned in previous letters, interest in the Budo arts is
on the rise once again, especially among those who practice
traditional martial arts. Traditional Karate, in particular, is
enjoying a strong revival because it has steadfastly kept on a
straight path, never losing sight of the ultimate goal of Budo,
that of attaining perfection of self through education and
training.
Now is the time to catch this new wave of public fascination
with Budo and this year’s Camp is your best opportunity
to re-learn Budo principles and fundamentals while further
raising your technical level.
For the 2008 Camp, ITKF has created a unique program that, in
one total package, incorporates the new Traditional Karate
training system and competition based on Budo philosophy and
fundamentals.
I have complete confidence that this program will give
participants a deeper understanding of Budo and increase their
technical skills so they will be best prepared to demonstrate
Traditional Karate in their own countries and explain its value
to human development as an educational physical art.
